Logistics services provider to occupy two buildings in City of Industry
December 17, 2012
ORANGE COUNTY, December 17, 2012 — Port Logistics Group, the nation’s leading provider of gateway logistics services, recently renewed and expanded its Los Angeles County operations for a total of 700,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution facilities. The company signed a five-year renewal for 350,000 square feet at 18175 E. Rowland Street, City of Industry, California. Additionally, Port Logistics Group leased the neighboring 350,000 square-foot building at 18215 E. Rowland Street.
Studley’s Industrial Services Group is the national real estate services provider for Port Logistics Group. Jeff Cannon, corporate managing director in the Orange County office, and John Simons, corporate managing director in the Houston office, led the negotiations.
“The transaction negated the need for a move and resulted in material savings to our client of millions of dollars in occupancy costs,” said Cannon. “We were able to lock in the company’s expansion needs at very favorable terms.”
The transaction also consolidates two other warehouse facilities into the expansion space at lower rents. Port Logistics Group will move into the second building in April of 2013.
Port Logistics Group currently occupies 2.2 million square feet in Southern California.
