Uber took a big step forward in its bid to uber-ize LTL and FTL shipments. Previously limited to interactions between carriers and drivers, Uber Freight has announced that it has now opened up its platform to shippers looking to book freight. This in lieu of its more controversial self-driving car efforts, which have taken a backseat.
People are starting to get their hands on the beta of Webflow’s e-commerce platform—and early thoughts look promising, if a little limited. Webflow disrupted the site-building landscape with powerful tools for HTML and CSS, and while their e-commerce hype site is definitely pretty, it’s unclear if enough pro-features will be brought to the table to make Shopify yet take notice.
