Shopify has unlocked the long-requested ability to edit orders, and even allow your consumers to make changes to the cart after purchase. It’s important for our Shopify integration users to keep in mind that Whiplash doesn’t yet listen for line-item changes from Shopify.
We’re researching the changes Shopify made to their API, to determine when. It’s important to preserve the predictability, transparency, and integrity that users have come to expect.
Note: we do still listen for address changes, which are allowed up until shipment. The surest way to make changes is still to cut out the middleman and make edits directly in Whiplash.
