Jeff Wolpov currently serves as the senior vice president, e-commerce for Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. Jeff is responsible for leading the vision and strategy for Ryder’s e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment solutions, driving business expansion and achieving revenue growth. He was most recently chief executive officer of Whiplash (rebranded from Port Logistics Group) where he led the company to year-over-year revenue growth of nearly 30%. In January of 2022, Whiplash was acquired by Ryder System, Inc. Prior to joining Port Logistics Group in 2008, Jeff was the founder and CEO of Distribution Solutions, which he grew from a startup business to a $50M regional logistics firm that served as the platform company for Port Logistics Group. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
Sarah’s experience spans engineering, engineering management, and organizational development in distribution and transportation industry roles over 25 years. She is responsible for solutions design, pricing, seamless customer implementations, including project management, labor planning and design of the physical fulfillment operation at Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. She also oversees yield management and continuous improvement processes throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure customers’ daily throughput and service expectations are met or exceeded. Sarah’s previous roles included director of engineering and project management for a $3 billion transportation organization and the director of customer engineering for a major tire distributor. Sarah has a BS in industrial engineering and an MS in organizational development and change from Case Western Reserve University.
A former owner of a logistics business and with a keen entrepreneurial outlook, Brian brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of operational and sales to Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. He oversees the sales team and processes at the company, responsible for delivering compelling consultative solutions to potential customers. During the client onboarding process, Brian is also a key leader of the customer care team and maintains his advocacy role during the entire account lifecycle. Prior, Brian was Managing Partner and President of F&L Shipping LLC, a family-owned bi-coastal wholesale and retail distribution center. His extensive background includes end-to-end third-party warehousing, client integration, and national sales. Brian grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University.
Ryan Powell brings a wealth of experience from his years spent working across several tech and fulfillment organizations. Prior to joining Ryan was the Head of Revenue for cloud-based shipping and fulfillment solution Easyship. In a little over three years, he helped Easyship grow into a leading global shipping platform. Currently, Ryan is tasked with guiding Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash’s e-commerce strategy with a focus on developing best-in-class fulfillment and integration partnerships to offer merchants expanded, end-to-end e-commerce capabilities.
Leslie Karr currently serves as the group director, customer success for Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. Her teams are responsible for customer success management, customer support, customer training & implementation, and customer success operations. She was most recently Vice President of Customer Success for Whiplash, now Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. Prior, Leslie was the Vice President of Customer Success for Resonate, a marketing research software company based in Reston, Virginia. She has held similar positions over the years at Knowland, Mixpo (formerly ShopIgniter), and Yesmail. Leslie is a graduate of the University of Oregon and received a master’s degree from the University of Puget Sound.
Eva Dicecco brings extensive experience from her inner workings at numerous distribution centers (DCs) and warehouses from the retail and apparel industries. She is currently the VP of Operations E-commerce for Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash and is responsible for developing and supporting the operations team, providing them with keen insights to set them up for success. Her leadership experience in logistics has helped her teams optimize processes for better productivity and ensuring customer expectations are met. Eva was most recently Vice President of East Coast Operations for Whiplash. Prior, she held various positions in her span of over 26 years between both H& M and Old Navy, as controller, DC manager, and logistics manager.
Sean Kim is a leading e-commerce expert and oversees the e-commerce experience & global parcel strategy team at Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. He started his career in the enterprise CRM software industry, then moved into e-commerce working at Zappos.com, Amazon, and others in various venture-backed stages of hypergrowth. With almost 20 years of direct e-commerce experience in traditional & subscription businesses, his focus is on helping customers with their post-checkout customer experience and the impact of small parcel to the lifetime value of a brand’s customer experience. Prior to joining Whiplash in 2018, now Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash, he was consulting for numerous e-commerce businesses on growth and brand loyalty. He has a degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Raul leads the Whiplash Finance and Accounting team. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Raul brings a wealth of knowledge on financial reporting and analysis, financial modeling, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and operational decision-making support. Prior to joining Whiplash (now Ryder Ecommerce by Whiplash) in 2020, Raul held various roles in the E-commerce, Retail, Tech, Manufacturing and Automotive industries, including positions at Mattel, Ford Motor Company, Newegg, and Belkin. Raul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School.
Aimee Schmalzle is group director, e-commerce technology at Ryder System, Inc. In this role, Aimee is building the future of Ryder’s E-commerce technology and is responsible for crafting and spearheading the vision, forming, and leading high performing agile teams, and delivering technology that makes E-commerce fulfillment easy. She has been with Ryder since 2017. Recently she successfully implemented Ryder’s RyderGyde, a fleet management platform that allows management for all aspects of transportation fleets. Prior to joining Ryder, Aimee built transformative and immersive experiences including The Wellness App by Spafinder, Blissworld.com for Bliss Spas, timetospa.com for Elemis, MyClubMed.com for Club Med and more. Aimee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communications from Muhlenberg College.
Peggy Hinkle brings over 25 years of experience in Human Resources including 16 years at Ryder in multiple divisions with growing complexity. She leads our ”people strategy” to ensure we have the right talent, at the right time, in order to enable success and sustainable growth. Peggy’s focus is on strategy and programs that impact organizational culture, employee engagement, talent assessment and leadership development. She is responsible for improving organizational performance through unlocking the knowledge and ability of resources and enabling a myriad of talent to make bold decisions that create value for customers. Peggy received her BS degree in Business from Arizona State University.
Mark Dickson is a co-founder, and originally CTO, of the Whiplash Platform. He helped usher the platform through two acquisitions, by Port Logistics Group and then by Ryder. Prior to co-founding Whiplash, Mark worked in e-commerce, with a focus on independent record labels and the music industry. He also spent years working on software for professional artists and galleries, as well as several years doing survey and interface design at the University of Michigan. He believes in scalable, readable code, and that programming can and should be a pleasure. He has MAs in English and Communications and a BS in Mathematics.
Rick Morris is an IT Infrastructure professional with over 25 years of IT management experience, the last 20 years supporting 3PL and E-commerce business. Rick possesses significant experience in managing and standardizing, process-driven change during growth, acquisitions, mergers, and consolidations. Rick joined Port Logistics Group in 2009 and was here through the rebrand to Whiplash, as well as the acquisition by Ryder Systems, Inc in 2022. Prior to joining in 2009, Rick was responsible for Global IT Infrastructure and operational technology for Eagle Global/CEVA Logistics.
Andrew brings over a decade of engineering experience in the distribution industry to his role as Group Director, Engineering, at Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash. He oversees the new customer implementation process, including project management, process design, and layout of the physical fulfillment operation to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our customers. He is also responsible for continuous improvement processes throughout the customer lifecycle to drive efficiency and innovation while exceeding our customers’ service expectations on a daily basis. Andrew has an MS and BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California.
